Malaika believes that a truly beautiful ruby is never subject to any treatment or enhancement.
Nowadays, however, 99% of rubies have been heated and/or enhanced to allow lower quality stones to appear nicer and sell at higher prices.

Malaika is dedicated to searching for natural beauty in rubies, as such stones are increasingly harder to find due to depletion of existing reserves.

We then only rely on delicate cutting and polishing to create a perfect sparkle.
Through these efforts, our treasurable rubies become even rarer and more valuable over time.
